The Story

A wise old shopkeeper gives your child a special jar: write your worry on a slip of paper and put it in the jar. The jar shrinks each worry down to a tiny, harmless speck. your child learns that naming a worry and putting it somewhere safe takes away its power. The jar never fills up, because shared worries always shrink.
